General Characteristics
Phosphorus Pentafluoride is a highly toxic, colourless, nonflammable, strongly fuming gas with an irritating odor. It reacts with water to form hydrogen fluoride and phosphoric acid. It is shipped as a liquefied gas in size 7X cylinder.
